He has had a good attitude in working with all staff and asks questions to make sure statewide needs are met with the system. We would like Tim to continue his good work with this office…”

-Rochelle Altholz
State Administrator | Virginia Department of Health, Office of the Chief Medical Examiner

“…

furthermore demonstrated an excellent grasp of advanced Microsoft Office concepts and was heavily counted on to provide a high level of service to our end users. Tim’s performance in this regard did not disappoint. His friendly, personable demeanor contributed greatly to his effectiveness when communicating with the organization’s computer users. Mr. Kimrey has an innate ability to express technical concepts in such a way that they are easily grasped by people who do not work in the information technology field. His patience and genuine desire to improve the computing environment of our organization made him a valuable component of a top-tier technical support group, and we were sorry to see him leave.”

-Ryan J. Dibble
Network Engineer | Todd Consulting, Inc.

“One of the traits that I valued most in Tim was his ability to identify a need, research and identify a solution, and then follow through with the implementation with little or no direct supervision. His work on several Access databases, such as our Help Desk Call Tracking Application and the Asset Management application, was exceptional. The attention to detail which was shown, as well as the ability to gather a multitude of information from various sources, allowed for quality results which far exceeded my expectations.

I think that Tim can be successful in a variety of positions, especially one that will allow him to interact with end users and share his knowledge. He is a true asset.”

-Dan Clark
Network Services Manager | City of Greensboro
Gunnery Sergeant, United States Marine Corps

“In his technical capacity, Mr. Kimrey brought schooling, experience and enthusiastic attitude for learning to quickly solve problems and keep operational the highest speed IP-based network available in Europe at the time he worked for me. To attain that level of accomplishment the position required him to be an instructor for subordinates, a mentor for peers, and a polished communicator to superiors. All of those leadership qualities were aplomb and meritorious recognition by the military service.”

My key interests are:

  • Design and presentation. I enjoy all aspects of the design process, from creating intuitive interfaces to graphically representing concepts in a report.
  • Problem solving and process improvement. I enjoy identifying inconveniences and gaps in work flow and then collaborating with users to improve processes.
  • Education. I enjoy learning about what people do, researching technologies that can help them do their jobs more effectively, and applying what I’ve learned to solve problems. Then I like to share what I know with others.
  • Teamwork. I work best as part of a larger team, thriving on a group’s collective energy.
