I don't have time to read through the whole blog, but since I looked at your profile and found it... I'll be back!

Instinctively, I liked who you represent yourself to be on Flickr. Your dry sense of humor, your artistic point of view, and your intereaction with a silly bird. Now I know you're a good guy.

Congratulations and all the best on having a good friend for a wife... one who is obviously smart... and a good sense of humor.

Maybe you won't like "up North," but you should stay there long enough to love it for what it is... and not hate it for what it isn't. I hated Stockholm when I first moved there. It was so different for me. I learned to love it, but it took 4 years. Would I move back? Nope! But, I love it all the same.

I agree with you completely. Even at this distance, that takes some courage. Those fools might put a price tag on you. Another thing that really is question-begging is why the "good" Muslims don't speak and act boldly in face of this barbarism? With Love and pride, dad

Everything I've read that you've written interests me. When you mentioned Anne Coulter's presence on the scene on the one hand and Michael Moore's on the other, I wasn't sure if the pendulum could swing much further either way. Talking about opposites. What if the two of them got together, as in James Carville and Mary? The very thought simultaneously amuses and nauseates me.

I'm viewing all your posts with great interest. I'm impressed by the wide variety of "stuff" on which you form opinions and also impressed with the thoughtful way in which you approach your subject(s).

Very clever, and very much "on target." Is this original stuff, that is apart from the wisdom of Dr. King's comment. dad
