I did get the copies of past letters I sent you. Thanks. Maybe if I become famous those letters will get published by historians. Some of my favorite writing to read is correspondence – whether it be famous authors or commoners throughout history. I find it to be the most authentic form of writing. Recently The New Yorker had some letters from Saul Bellow to various people that helped push me to get back to writing. I don’t know what I did with the magazine otherwise I would send it your way.

Good job, Son. You know how I appreciate your help, admire your ability, and respect your ability to think for yourself. I also appreciate your candor, and don’t believe you’re through thinking yet.

You also nailed it about Kelli and your Grandmother. In a world where there’s so much counterfeit, it is a refreshing exception to encounter genuine, authentic currency.

Thanks for bringing up the site. It would never have reached daylight without you and Jonathan. Thanks for enabling me to say some things which I feel are true and helpful. I leave the disposition of my work to the judgment of God and others.

I wish you would teach your dad how to phix one of these blogs. And show me how to get my stuff put on tweeter or facebook or wherever stuff should go. You have it up so neat and understandable. Mine looks amateurish.

Sir Winston Churchill is one of my all time favorite people, cigars, brandy, and flashing that v sign take me all the way back to remembering a childhood hero. A great writer. And I feel by his tenacity and eloquence he probably (more than any other individual) kept us from having to click our boot heels and shout sieg heil! You should be working on your book(s) son.

Puh-leeze, let your brother know I recognize and expose him for the fake he is. He and I once had a shooting contest with a 22 from some distance. The targets were side by side. He went down to retrieve them, switched them and claimed mine. . . obviously a very superior shooter. He then compounded his iniquity by telling some friends the good target was his, and the utterly lousy one was mine. I have not forgotten nor forgiven, nor shall I. I love you guys. Enjoyed your site. The book is being printed as I write. You and Jon deserve much of the credit. Thanks for being so patient and helpful. ~dadkimrey

Funny, when I read this story at /. this morning it was served up with an ad for “Burgers’ Smokehouse” featuring a large Turkey. “Holiday Meals Made Easy” indeed.

I wonder if future children will have “Grow your own meat” as a modern-day equivalent to the home science lab kits I played with as a child.

William Gibson envisioned a whole industry of “Vat Grown” meat products in his novels. In the past, people assumed it was a fungal product, but I like to think of it as actual “meat”. (Which is what Gibson actually intended.)

Hell, if it tastes good, we will all eat it.
