Suggested reading for cyclists

I just read Taming the Bicycle, in which Mark Twain tells of learning to ride a Penny Farthing bicycle. I would like to take the time to thank all those engineers, inventors and cycling enthusiasts who have brought us the modern bicycle. I don’t know that I would be as tenacious as Mr. Twain in learning to ride the high-wheeled beast.
